The plan...

So, this is the internet then? It's very special. Tammy, meet blogging, Blogging, this is Tammy...you guys are going to get on just fine!

So people keep asking how the travel plans are coming along and that makes me a little bit nervous. Are we supposed to have things planned by now? I made a blog, isn't that enough?!

The plan is that Tammy and Richie are packing their bags, then probably unpacking them again, then repacking....then squishing while zipping followed by more unpacking. Then panicking because there is no more room for accessories that would go great with a tan...and that's just Richie! Then we will be heading to Dublin airport on August 11th. Our first stop is Bangkok, Thailand where we hope to meet up with some friends with a van (maybe they will also have a plan...and a pan, just for rhyming purposes) and driving around Thailand for a bit. From there we hope to take in much of South East Asia and a bit of China too.

In order to avoid disappointment when they fall asunder, we haven't set out any real concrete plans, so for now we are looking forward to an adventure unfurling under our feet like waves on a warm beach. We are prepared for big bugs, cold buses, busy cities, dingy hostels and well...Germans too. But we are also extremely excited about bright smiles, new smells, strange food and lots of new people and places.
